The company reported that Thind, who has seventeen years of experience in the related segment, will manage the acquisition, monetization, development and marketing of mobile games and apps for the company.

The announcement timing is ideal provided the growth that the respective industry is enjoying. As per eMarketer.com, the industry of mobile games and app is expected to surge grow 16.5% with mobile games contributing for more than 30% of the country’s mobile content market in 2015.

In last trading session, the stock price of SPYR consolidated and closed flat at $0.250. The total traded share volume was 20,500 compared to average monthly share volume of 58,343.

The company released its second quarter numbers in August wherein it stated that 2Q revenue increased 8% to $55.9 million over 2Q2014.
