Boston, MA 09/26/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Financial services provider, Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC) disclosed that it has appointed a former Barclays officer, Marty Courage, as its Regional Director for its Boston office of the company’s Private Bank.
Wealth Management Functions
Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC) stated that he would be stationed in Boston and would manage every function of wealth management for the Northern New England area, its statement revealed. This included investment management, trust and estate services, insurance, and private banking through Wells Fargo Bank, and brokerage services through its another subsidiary, Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC.
As Boston was regarded as a key marketplace, Courage would be required to work closely with the other divisions too to deliver a comprehensive solution to its customers. The company expects that his three decades of experience in management of wealth would place himself to prepare and execute tactics to improvement the business.
Courage was with Barclays Wealth and Investment Management division as its Managing Director apart from being Regional Manager of its Boston office. He was credited for establishing Private Wealth business in the Boston market when he worked for JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM). He was also with Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC)’s Investment Services as its regional investments executive.
The new regional director of Wells Faro was a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Massachusetts University. He was a veteran and served the U.S. Army and got awards for his Good Conduct, National Defense Ribbon, Battalion Citation and an Honorable Discharge.
