Right from the start of this year, SPYR focus has remained on extending its market share in the two main industries-Digital advertising and publishing, and games and app market. The increased use of Smartphones and the considerable increase in money spent in this field over last couple of years are the major reasons behind the company’s move into these two industries.

United Online, Inc. (NASDAQ:UNTD) reported that it has concluded the stock sale of its subsidiary unit Classmates, Inc., to Intelius Holdings, Inc. in a deal valued at $30 million cash. Francis Lobo, the CEO and President said that it is a great result for company and is complement their strategy to focus on growth areas of e-commerce and value based communications. Also, this divestiture will allow them to allocate increased capital to boost growth in existing businesses.
United Online stated that M&A remains an important part of strategy as they continue to assess complementary opportunities in key growth areas. As a result of Classmates sale, the company updated its revenue for 3Q2015 and now expects to come in a range of $34.0 to $37.0 million.
