Office Depot, Inc. (NASDAQ:ODP) has named on Monday the newest member of its Board of Directors, Kristin Campbell, who will be part of the Audit Committee as well.
Roland Smith, Office Depot Chairman and CEO, stated in behalf of the company that he is pleased to have Campbell on board, believing that her experience of about 20 years in the industry will be crucial in the company’s efficient long-term delivery.
Campbell has held various significant executive posts for big companies such as Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPLS) and Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc (NYSE:HLT), where she serves as both Executive Vice President (EVP) and General Counsel. Smith cited these valuable stints as part of Campbell’s leadership prowess.
Realspace Modern Comfort Series
Last week, Office Depot has launched its newest exclusive product lineup of office chairs, Realspace Modern Comfort Series.
Ron Lalla, Office Depot EVP of Merchandising, boasted that the company’s latest seat offerings are specifically designed with both comfort and style in mind. Consequently, consumers will no longer have to choose between two important factors when buying office chairs. Since employees spend most of their time sitting on their office chairs, Office Depot believes that it is just right to come up with an innovative product line that enhances their overall experience working whether at office or at home.
The Realspace Modern Comfort Series chairs include one or more of the following features: coil spring technology, comfort band construction, contoured lumbar support, and high-density foam cushioning. The coil spring technology provides additional comfort through better weight distribution, minimized compression, and shock absorption. Meanwhile, the comfort band construction uses horizontal, elastic bands to enhance weight distribution as it follows the shape of each person who will sit on the chair. On the other hand, the contoured lumbar support optimizes the lumbar region support so that no external support mechanisms will be necessary for better experience. Lastly, the high-density foam cushioning guarantees unparalleled performance over a long period.
