Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:OCLS) Announces Sell of Virtual Reality Headsets From Year 2016

Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:OCLS) has decided to start selling its much awaited virtual reality headsets from next year. Reports claim that Oculus will start shipping the consumer version of Rift headsets in 1Q2016.

Pre-Order To Start Soon:

There are hundreds of thousands of people who are ready to buy the consumer version of Rift headsets. Oculus understands the ongoing trend very well; hence, it has decided to start the pre-order process very soon. It announced in a statement that pre-order for the new Rift headsets will start towards the end of the year.

Oculus is one of the leading companies in today’s time, which was bought by Facebook in 2014 for $2 billion. Oculus made available the previous version of the VR Headsets in 2012. The primary focus of these headsets was to help the developers running tests and making games. The news about consumer version of the headsets was hitting the market on regular basis. Market experts anticipated the company to launch the consumer version in the near future.

The official announcement was made by the company in a blog post which stated that a lot of details concerning software, hardware, games, inputs and other first-time inclusions will be made available in the coming days. The senior management of the company is delighted to have announced this news and hopes that it will pay the way for the next level offering in the future.

There were quite a few complaints about the previous version of headsets; therefore, Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:OCLS) wants to ensure that the consumer version of VR headsets shouldn’t have any such loophole once it hits the market. The product will be launched in the early 2016. There are almost 7-8 months left before the final test. Oculus team looks forward to focusing completely on this product to make it a huge success in the market.
