NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) Expects To Launch RTX 3090 With A Small 12-Pin Connector And GDDR6X Memory Of 24 GB At $1,400

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) gears up introducing at its new RTX 3090 card at the GeForce event, which will be held next week.

What are the features of RTX3090?

According to recent leaks, Nvidia will introduce its flagship RTX 3000 family of cards that comprise RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 cards on September 1, 2020. The RTX 3090 expects to boast a pennant shaped PCB along with an innovative cooling shroud.

NVidia redeveloped the cards to ensure smooth airflow and reduce heating issues on GPUs. The new cooling systems are in place to eliminate heating when serious gaming on the PC is underway.

Changes in the power connector

Nvidia also incorporated changes in the power connector. It will use a small 12-pin connector smaller in size than two 8-pin edge pin connectors used earlier. The new connector allows more space on the board to be used for cooling and placing more components.

The RTX 3090 also features a new low profile spring for more room on the backside of the PCB and a sturdy mechanical structure. Its mechanical are big and expects to occupy three slots. The new board will feature GDDR6X memory of 24GB for faster gaming on the computer.

More details on the performance front compared to RTX 2080i and RTX 2080 will be revealed by Nvidia on September 1, 2020. According to leaks, the new RTX 3090 cards will be available at $1,400. The two computing components of this year – RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 will offer the best next-generation 4k experience for the game lovers.

Nvidia will offer live streaming of its Ampere line up at its GeForce special event. One can come to know its price and its performance boost compared to the RTX 2000 series. They will also know how the new gaming technology looks like at this special event.

Nvidia will begin trading on September 1, 2020, after turning x-dividend. The shareholders will receive a dividend of $0.16 for each share on September 24, 2020.
