Boston, MA 10/10/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Metlife Inc (NYSE:MET) announced on 9th October that it has inked a deal to co develop three new industrial parks in association with Panattoni Development Company. The national developer which is headquartered in Newport Beach, California and the insurance firm would jointly pour in nearly $63 million into this project. The construction project is expected to add nearly 0.1 million square feet of ware housing infrastructure into the Seattle industrial complex. In the joint venture, Metlife Inc (NYSE:MET) has assumed control of the majority stake, while Panattoni Development Company would be managing operations as a minority partner. The two companies have indicated that the project is likely to provide employment opportunities for nearly 600 workers in the region. The project is scheduled to be completed by end of 2015.

This is a talk shop which is organized on the sidelines of annual American Academy of Ophthalmology which will be held in Chicago. Company President and Chief Executive Officer Dan Myers is expected to talk about the recent approval its test drug ILUVIEN® has received from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The approved drug is designed to treat vision disorder caused due to diabetes by administering a device which will pump in medication at regular intervals.
Glu Mobile Inc.(NASDAQ:GLUU) which is a developer of free-to-play digital games which are downloaded and played on smart phone and tablet devices announced on 9th October that it has released a new updated Diner Dash game. The press note indicated that the new games were available for download on both the App Store and Google Play. The newly introduced gaming title comes close on the heels of the Chinese games creator acquiring fellow games creator PlayFirst, Inc. in May this year.
