Boston, MA 09/23/2014 (wallstreetpr) – According to reports, a Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) trader-turned-chef has finally decided to quit her job and start a restaurant. People don’t leave investment banking jobs daily in order to pursue their hobbies as their career, but she has managed to do it eventually.
Road so far:
Joo, 39 decided to pursue her hobby as a career after spending a wonderful time at MS. She initially joined London Club where she worked for around three years. During her tenure with London Club, she got a chance to meet and serve food for quite a few celebrities like Justine Bieber and Kate Moss. Recently she decided to leave her dream job at London Club in order to open a restaurant. While recalling her memories at London Club, she remembers most the fun while working. Recently in an interview she said that she could speak forever about the happy memories she was able to create while working with London Club. For her, it was just awesome to look after tons of footballers and rappers and hang out with friends in the Playboy Mansion in L.A. She said she missed those bunnies, beautiful girls and amazing people who were always there to entertain her.
If you look at her background, you can’t find one degree that makes her an ideal choice for a career miles apart from her typical investment banking job. It’s her enthusiasm, dedication and love for what she does that has taken her where she is today. She did engineering from Columbia University and then went on to do her internship at Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:GS). After the graduation, she got into Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) New York where she worked for more than four years before getting admission in the French Culinary Institute in New York. Soon after graduating from French Culinary Institute, she moved to London and started working as a Pastry Chef at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Later she moved to London Club in 2011.
