Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) announced that its employees could go back to work after President Joe Biden’s administration announced that the country was emerging from the severe pandemic phase of COVID-19. The Chief Medical Adviser, Dr. Anthony Fauci, stated that the government intends to shut down all COVID-19 restrictions before the end of 2022.
A few states reduced the regulations governing the COVID-19 pandemic, such as New Jersey, Oregon, and others. In addition, the states reduced their mask regulations which is a sign that the majority of the states are managing the pandemic properly.
Following the government’s announcement, a few organizations recalled their employees to work. The organizations created efficient work models for their employees to abide by when resuming work; some of these organizations include Microsoft and others. Employees from Microsoft are due to report back on 28th February 2022.
Microsoft announces partnership with Eka Software
The company recently announced its partnership with Eka Software to provide consumers with various solutions that allow various organizations to decrease their carbon emissions. In addition, the partnership will allow other organizations to monitor their emissions, thus developing positive changes to Climate change.
Both companies will offer adequate solutions to the targeted companies to track and regulate their carbon usage. In addition, Microsoft also announced its significant update to the Windows OS and thus will be found in devices such as Notepad and others.
Another platform that the company intends to update includes Microsoft Teams which feature new 3D emojis. The company began exchanging many emojis in the platform with new and sufficient ones available for both Windows and teams platforms.
Microsoft is pulling out of social platforms by AltspaceVR
The company recently announced the pulling out of social platforms created by AltspaceVR and authorized users to log into the digital application via a Microsoft Account. The alterations made to the app create a safe bubble that forces attendees to log into the meeting while on mute.
Microsoft plans to host an event with its shareholders and highlight some of the projects released in 2022. The event will be on 24th February 2022 and will issue methods for approaching security risks while starting a business or an organization.
