Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: META) calls on the rise

Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: META) is currently trading at $168.48 and up over $8.40. WallStreetPR noticed several repeaters for META calls and large volume on the META Aug 5 $172.50 Calls here at $.92. META keeps pushing $167.50 and could pop higher above $168 and run higher.

Meta Platforms shares rose Wednesday following a report that the social media giant may become the latest tech company to turn to the bond markets in a bid to raise capital. Facebook parent Meta (ticker: META ) has asked banks to hold meetings with investors to arrange a potential bond sale, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter. Meta stock was up 5% to $168.27 on Wednesday.
