Ludwig Enterprises Catches a Break After Deployment Agreement in South Korea (LUDG)

Following the announcement of the company’s definitive agreement for technology deployment in South Korea, the stock of Ludwig Enterprises (OTC: LUDG) caught a minor break in today’s over-the-counter market. Ludwig Enterprises traded 3.6% higher today, closing today’s trading session at a share price of $0.135.

Today, July 31, 2012, the Board of Directors at Ludwig Enterprises announced that Ludwig and New World Global have reached a fundamental agreement for deployment of Ludwig’s new digital technology in South Korea.

According to the agreement, New World Global is going to purchase licensing rights for a five-year renewable term. The licensing agreement is for the patented technology owned by Ludwig for transmission of 50 audio channels over South Korea’s new ATSC digital TV networks. Over 48 million people live within the licensed area. Licensing fees are being finalized according to a schedule dependent on activations and agreed benchmarks.

Ludwig Enterprises was priced at $80.50 per share on December 31, 2012. Trading 99.8% lower since the start of 2012, the stock performance of Ludwig Enterprises has been disheartening. Ludwig Enterprises had a 1:350 stock-split on March 5, 2012, and has declined further since that point.
