(NYSE:JCP) is actively involved in selling merchandise and offering its services to the customers via its departmental stores and, of course, through its official website JCP has a well knit network throughout the continental United States, Puerto Rico and Alaska. Further, the company operates in selling apparel, footwear, fine and fashion jewelry, accessories and beauty products and also deals in furnishings. Not only this, its department stores go on to provide you with optical, portrait photography, customized decoration and styling salon. Overall, the company has huge revenue as it deals in day to day products which are never out of demand or fashion.

A Good Time Or An Extension Of The Existing Bad Time

At present J.C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE:JCP) is totally unable to decide if it’s a good time for it or still the black clouds are hovering. The company is in such a situation because though Fitch as maintained a positive outlook on the company yet has addressed it with an Issuer Default Rating of ‘CCC’. Such a rating when assigned to the company simply means that there is some a problem of material deterioration in the business. Further, the company has not seen any elevation in its performance in the last two years and also the revenues are considerably down. J.C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE:JCP) certainly agrees that it will take a little time to go from under-performer to out-performer.

The Positive News

But amidst all this, still there is positive news! We cannot ignore the fact that JCP is also assigned with a positive look which indicates that the company, in last few months, has improved its situation on the liquidity. And the main reason behind this improvement was the upsizing of the credit facility. Further, the company has very high hopes on the trough liquidity by the end of this year because J.C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE:JCP) estimates that it will be enough to fulfill the liquidity needs of the company for the next holiday season of the year 2015.
