J.C. Penney Company Inc (NYSE:JCP) recognized for the military support

Boston, MA, 11/12/2013 (wallstreetpr) – With the success, J.C. Penney Company Inc (NYSE:JCP) has managed to get its name in the Victory Media’s 2014 Military Friendly Employer List. The criterion which was used by Victory Media, the publisher of G.I. Job Sand Military Spouse Magazines for putting the name of J.C. Penney Inc in the list included a score across the key programs and policies adopted and used by the company. Some of the programs which were adopted and used by the management of J.C. Penney Company Inc with the help of which it got its name in the list were the J.C. Penney’s military recruiting efforts and also the company policies on National Guard and Reserve Service.

The vice president of philanthropy at J.C. Penney Company Inc said that the recognition of women and men who have helped in making the freedom possible is the cause close to the minds and hearts of both the customers and associates.

The recognition building on the J.C. Penney Company Inc is the history of military support. Apart from providing the current and former military personnel and family members active reserves, duty, retirees and guard a 20% discount in the stores from November 6 – 11 in order to celebrate the Veteran’s day, J.C. Penney Company Inc military support would also be including other things, facilities and activities.

Penny Company Inc. the company cares for the charitable giving programs and invites customers to round up their purchases in order to support the retailer’s featured charity partner each month. With the customer contributions made in the month of July 2012, J.C. Penney Company Inc donated around $2.8 million to the United Service Organization. The United Service Organization is a nonprofit, private and congressionally chartered organization which is dedicated towards lifting the spirits of American troops and also their families.
