SiriusXM Radio Inc (NASDAQ:SIRI)’s PGA TOUR Radio Adds Legendary Jim McLeanAs Host

    Boston, MA, 11/20/2013 (wallstreetpr) – SiriusXM Radio Inc (NASDAQ:SIRI) made an official statement that Jim McLean, owner of the Jim McLean Golf Schools has decided to host SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio.

    From the beginning of 2014, Jim Mclean, one of the nation’s leading golf instructors, will join Jeff Warne to host twice-a-week call-in-show Serious Golf. McLean will share swing tips and instructions for the show’s listeners countrywide. Amateur as well as experienced Golfers are encouraged to dial in to the show for overcoming their weak points and honing skills. A detailed announcement about the show’s launch date and on-air time will be made in the forthcoming weeks.

    In the meanwhile, McLean expressed his excitement in joining the PGA TOUR Radio. He credited golf teaching as his sole means of livelihood and said that he enjoys to talk about the aspect of instruction.

    SiriusXM’s resident and Chief Content Officer, Scott Greenstein said that the company is thrilled to have Jim and Jeff on-board for sharing their expertise through SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio. He added that both Jim and Jeff have dedicated their careers to helping golfers improve their scores and relish the game. They have an incredible ability to communicate the fine details of the swing and golf in general to their students. Scott believes that the show will appeal to all players alike as it will give them ease to learn from two of the top teachers in America.

    Launched in 2005, SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio was launched back in the year 2005. It offers its listeners throughout the country a live coverage of PGA TOUR events along with the major championship tournaments. As per the latest weekly report published yesterday, Sirius XM Radio Inc (NASDAQ:SIRI) has been ranked at third position as it lost the top two spots to its biggest competitor Pandora Media (NYSE:P) and Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) iTunes radio respectively.
