As reported in the Business Wire article, the two recent acquisitions of the Interval Leisure Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:IILG) together won 20 premier awards. The Travel Weekly Magellan Awards are among the leading awards that are granted to top travel organizations, as also to professionals across the world. The two companies assembled seven Gold awards and 13 Silver awards in the print advertising and web marketing segments. Among the other contemporary award winning campaigns of Aqua was the “Volcano House Back, Hotter Than Ever.” On the other hand, Aston’s campaign that helped it bag the awards include “One Million HawaiianMiles” and “Kids Ski Free.”
Interval Leisure Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:IILG) had acquired Aqua Hospitality, along with Aqua Hotels and Resorts in Holdings Hawaii. Aqua Hospitality, which is a Hawaiian management company, was formed in 2001. On the other hand, Aston is based in Honolulu and has a variety of condominium hotels and resorts. It has properties on four important islands in Hawaii.
