Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) Revamps Its Desktop PC line

Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) has decided to pour some more concentration into PCs. The company announced on Monday that it was introducing major changes that are aimed at making the PCs more appealing and capable.

Desktop computers have always lacked that design factor. HP is correcting this by introducing a new look to its Desktop computers. The company introduced new and stylish casings for the tower PC. Additionally, the casings or housing will be available with a variety of colors to suit customer preferences. Colors range from blue, red, silver, white and a few others.

Looks are not the only thing that HP took care of. The company has really out done itself this time by introducing new hardware that promises the machines will have more power. The HP Pavilion desktop will now boast of a standard selection of modern processors. They range from the 4th generation Intel Celeron processor, AMD A4 to A10 processors, the Intel series from i3, i5 and i7.

Potential buyers will have an option of the NVIDIA GTX 745 integrated into the system. Additionally the company has also increased the capacities by increasing the standard hard drive capacity. HP will give customers a choice of up to 3GB internal hard disk capacity.

A few other features have also been given a facelift. Each PC will include two USB 2.0 ports and about 4 USB 3.0 ports. Other PCs such as the envy will also receive more premium treatment and improvements.

HP is also putting their all-in-one computers on the frontline. The new line will be more powerful, particularly citing the fact that HP wants them to feature the 4K display. Thus, the company is throwing in major improvements such as the powerful 4th generation i3, i5 and i7 processors. The processors will include the A8 and A10 AMD processors. All this capacity is expected to handle the increasingly heavy demands of the computing world.

The new releases will particularly be welcomed with open hearts by gamers and designers. Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) has set an impressive benchmark with these new changes.
