General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) Releases New Software For Improving Performance Of Work Processes

Boston, MA 10/14/2013 (wallstreetpr) – The Intelligent Platforms of General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) has released a new software solution titled Proficy Workflow version 2.1. This software solution is so designed that it can be smoothly integrated with the currently existing automation and control systems. It will increase the speed of response to the different out of spec HMI and even SCADA conditions by taking the right suitable actions.

The main use of Proficy workflow is to help the different organizations in replicating the best possible practice that are used by the firms. Doing so will help the company in increasing their quality and at the same time, it can also come in handy to curtail the costs as well. The Proficy workflow is a part of real time operational intelligence systems and it will help in implementing the right actions at the right time.

A North American manufacturer that made use of Proficy workflow and implemented it in the manual batch management sector found a whopping decrease in waste by 40 percent. It is also worth adding that the increase in productivity of the operator has increased by 70 percent too. The capacity also increased by 20 percent and this is an indication of how effective the Proficy Workflow software truly is.
