Enphase Energy Inc (NASDAQ:ENPH) And Yingli Green Energy Installs 99.77kW Solar Energy In Richmond Football Club

Boston, MA 09/23/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Enphase Energy Inc (NASDAQ:ENPH) and Yingli Green Energy Australia Pty Ltd, jointly declared the installation of a solar system. According to news in Yahoo! Finance, the 99.77kW solar system will use the Enphase Energy® micro inverters along with photo voltaic panels of Yingli at the Richmond Football Club.

At the time of the installation of the system, it was the biggest solar system in Australia and Southern Hemisphere that used Enphase Microinverters. The national solar installer Metro Solar was the Official Sustainability Partner of the club and supplied solar solution to satisfy the soaring energy need. The Enphase Energy Inc (NASDAQ:ENPH) micro inverters and Yingli Solar photovoltaic panels, at present, supply power to the roof of the popular ME Bank Centre, which is the club’s HQ as well as training facility.

The CEO of the club comments

It is one of the first AFL clubs to install the green energy, which sets an example for the broader community. The CEO of the club, Brendon Gale, said that Metro Solar was able to fulfil the energy consumption of the club and utilize the roof’s energy potential as they used top-notch solar system to generate more energy compared to other systems.

Metro Solar utilizes Enphase Microinverter System

The sports clubhouses’ high-performing gym for training, education, workplace, treatment as well as recovery clinic, and retail spaces consumes a tremendous amount of energy during the day.
