The company has also scheduled a conference call at 2.00 p.m. pacific time. The question among the investors is whether the results can come above the expectations and whether the profit will record year-over-year growth.
What To Expect
Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) guided net earnings between 6 and 12 cents a share and adjusted earnings between 26 and 32 cents a share for the third quarter. The mid-point of the adjusted earnings per share outlook is 29 cents a share. Wall Street analysts, on the other hand, are looking for earnings of 30 cents a share for the second quarter.
In the last four quarters, the company’s earnings topped Street analysts’ predictions in two quarters and in one quarter it came in line with expectations. It could not meet analysts’ expectations in only one quarter. In the first quarter, the company’s earnings came in 20% more than the Street estimations.
However, it remains to be seen whether the company will report year-over-year earnings growing since analysts’ estimations are below than the last year’s profit per share.

Will Adobe Boosts FY14 Outlook?
Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) has earnings and adjusted profit guidance of 27 cents a share and $1.10 a share respectively for the year 2014. Adobe expects revenue to be flat with the year 2013, which meant $4.06 billion. Wall Street analysts predict the company to report earnings of $1.17 a share on revenue of $4.14 billion.
Boosting earnings forecast depends more on how Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) delivers its profit, i.e. whether profit beats expectations or misses or come in line with the predictions. However, Adobe is most unlikely to review revenue forecast for the year. For the profit outlook, the company’s margin holds the key, which will play a role in both beating the expectations and boosting predictions.
