Drillers Like Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL) Seek For New Techniques To Cut Gas and Oil Impact

Boston, MA 10/06/2014 (wallstreetpr) – According to reports, Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL) and other drillers in Colorado have started looking for various new techniques in order to cut the impact of gas and oil. In this series, Encana Corp. is focusing most on erecting large and brown fabric sound walls. It is located about 740 feet from Vista Pointe subdivision, which is also known as the Zintel’s ranch-style home.

Insights of the matter:

Currently, most of the companies use pipelines to distribute gas and oil in various parts of the country. These companies are trying hard to reduce the impact. While interviewing, Jeff Balmer, Vice President for Calgary-based Encana’s western operations told reporters that the company was trying to reduce all the impacts and footprints of gas and oil. Due to limitless extraction of these items near colonies, front range drilling boom has inched closer to homes. It has not only forced the local communities and individuals to protest against the companies, but also made them complain to government authorities for imposing bans on operations.

Companies are looking forward to alternative ways in order to minimize the impact of their operations on public. They are ready to implement the latest technology for developing alternative solutions to execute their operations. As per the reports, Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and Noble Energy Inc. have started working on those technologies that can enable gas and oil companies to serve and develop wells from miles away. According to Sara Barwinski, Member of the Grassroots Group Weld Water and Air, all the companies should ensure that these tasks don’t take place near houses and schools. They cannot only pollute environment, but also proved to be dangerous for the health of kids. Other specialist people also think same. According to them, companies should use the latest technology to keep these activities away from homes and schools.
