BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ:BBRY) Unveils BlackBerry Hub+ For Android

BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ:BBRY) has announced on Wednesday the introduction of BlackBerry Hub+ for Android as part of the new software licensing program under its Mobility Solutions business segment, which aims to maximize BlackBerry 10 features.

As Ralph Pini, BlackBerry Mobility Solutions Chief Operating Officer (COO) and General Manager (GM), explained, Mobility Solutions is responsible for developing a software strategy that can integrate the company’s offerings and make them available on other platforms.

BlackBerry Hub+

BlackBerry Hub+ is a suite of BlackBerry productivity apps tailored specifically for smartphones operating with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Now, as Pini noted, Android users can access the best of BlackBerry on their Android smartphones for a more efficient experience.

BlackBerry Hub+ includes user-favorite features such as BlackBerry Hub, calendar, contacts, device search, launcher, notes, password keeper, and tasks.

Presently, a 30-day free trial is available on Google Play. With it, users can access the BlackBerry Hub, calendar, and password keeper features on their Android devices. Once the trial period has expired, users can continue to use BlackBerry Hub+ with ads. For a full and ads-free experience, users need to subscribe for $0.99 monthly.
