The performance of the digital assistants
However, one of them strongly clinches the top spot and it seems like this won’t be changing anytime soon. This is the Google Assistant. The research-driven venture capital firm Loup Ventures is the one that has made this declaration. According to the firm, Google’s product was found to answer more questions correctly. It beat the smartness of Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri. The organization usually conducts these IQ tests yearly.
The firm asked about 800 questions to each of the Smartphone digital assistants under study. These questions revolved around aspects such as where to order for goods or the bearing of the nearby places. The tests also sought to find out whether or not these products understood the questions well. The other thing was to determine the accuracy of the responses each of them gave.
From the findings, Google Assistant answered 93% of the questions correctly after understanding all the questions correctly. This is according to the same firm Loup Ventures. In the second slot was Siri, which answered 83% of the questions correctly. However, this one misunderstood some two questions that it was asked. The third and also the last one in the tests was Alexa. This one got 80% of the questions right but misunderstood one question as the study indicated.
The latest study in terms of the rankings is similar to the one conducted in the previous year. The only difference is that this year some improvements in scores have been witnessed.
Loup Ventures discloses that last year, Google Assistant got 86% of the questions right while Siri recorded 79% in the tests. Alexa though in a third position, made the biggest jump. It moved up by a difference of 19 percent in terms of the points.
The firm says Google is good at the information linked questions, whereas Siri does well with commands.
