Boston, MA 09/22/2014 (wallstreetpr) – According to reports, Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE:ANR) is looking forward to using natural gas at its Wyoming site. It has decided to get in touch with Plum Energy LLC in order to construct a huge liquid natural gas plant close to Eagle Butte Mine, near Gillette, Wyoming. If everything goes fine, then Plum Energy LLC will supply fuel saving and cost effective liquid natural gas to mine haul vehicles of ANR.
Road So Far:
Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE:ANR) has been trying to use liquid natural gas for last two years. It initially started tested LNG technology in 2012 and began a pilot program of the first LNG-powered mine haul trucks of the world. It decided to go forward with the conversion of 16 Caterpillar 793 haul trucks to liquid natural gas at the nearby Eagle Butte Mine after testing it for 18 months through daily operations. The management of ANR is very pleased with this step and looking to take things forward in a hassle free way.
While interviewing, Kirt Montague, Chief Executive Officer of Plum Energy LLC said that the company was extremely delighted to help ANR in bringing cleaner burning, lower cost LNG to its Wyoming plant. With the help of this step, a lot of LNG users other than ANR would be able to improve their supply lines in Powder River Basin.
Plum Energy LLC is a well-known name, and it will surely help Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE:ANR) to bring down its cost of providing efficient and lower cost energy to all the clients. There are two major advantages that ANR will have in a long term with the help of this agreement, first is the cost of fuel that is used at its Wyoming site will come down effectively. Second advantage is that it will create a lot of employment opportunities for people at Wyoming plant.
