Adobe Inc (NASDAQ:ADBE) Adds Enhancements To Its Experience Platform To Empower Retailers To Meet Business Targets

Online spending increases 32%

According to the latest data provided by Adobe, the spending by customers online increased by 32% in November and December 2020. The curbside pickup accounted for 25% of the orders. Orders through smartphones accounted for 52% on Christmas day. Retailers need advanced digital tools to operate efficiently and meet the growing demand from customers.

Adobe brought in several enhancements to help the retailers to improve their business, and achieve set targets by measuring the trends well in time.

AI together with Adobe Customer Journey to the fore of retailers

Ensuring proper working of checkout and shopping processes is a complex task. Adobe introduced enhancements using its AI to find errors and quickly fix them to run the processes faster.

If the errors are undetected, it could lead to a multimillion-dollar impact on the business. The AI solution offered by Adobe quickly scans the CX and fixes them.

The retailers can make use of the updated Customer Journey Analytics together with AI and keep a close eye on the curbside pickup and other business processes quickly.

Promotions and personalized offers

Adobe introduced an application service called Offer Decisioning developed using its Experience Platform to help retailers to provide appropriate, attractive, and focused offers to the clients. It also allows offering discount codes considering the shopping frequency of customers in the past ninety days.

The quick online shopping experience for customers

Adobe introduced its Experience Platform LSS (Launch Server Side) to improve the speed of the online shopping experience for the customers. It improves management and data collection processes and simplifies the workflows to boost performance.

Discontinues Flash Player

Adobe discontinued its Flash Players after 24 years of the launch. It is used to play games and watch streaming videos. The use of Flash diminished with the advent of better technologies. Adobe stopped providing security updates for its famous plug-in.
